WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE

WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING AT THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE AT BOUBOULINA'S STR?

In the last days, the major issue has arisen of the transfer, to the Superfund of the Lenders, of the real estate of the Ministry of Culture and Sports including buildings, monuments, archaeological sites.

The list, according to what has been published, was given by the representatives of the Ministry who participated in the Working Group which was selected for the purpose of designating of real estate to be used according to Government Gazette 1997 / Β / 2017 among them Mr. V. Papadakis, advisor to the then Minister of Culture and Sports Lydia Koniordou and Mrs. Aspasia Kouroumali, Head of the relevant Directorate of the Ministry of Culture and Spots for the real estate.

The representatives of the Ministry of Culture did not inform the hierarchy and did not check the list they delivered, as they ought to have according to reports, while the leadership of the Ministry is holding responsible only the former Minister, Lydia Koniordou, for the way she handled this issue.

This behavior, however, raises many and serious questions. If this is true, then why is the Director, Aspasia Kouroumali still at her place? And even disciplinary proceedings

have not been initiated yet against her,

not only for not doing her job properly, by not informing the hierarchy, as she owed to, according to the civil service code, but also for exposing the whole ministry, with her acts and omissions?

If something so serious happened then why is it, that the relevant proceedings were not initiated right away, so that the case can be fully elucidated and no shadows are left behind?

Are her superiors, the political leadership of the Ministry satisfied with the allegation that there was a mandate and they do not initiate the disciplinary proceedings, blaming only Mrs. Lydia Koniordou who, on the other hand, has already left the ministry?

Or is it the case,

that they knew all about the sell-off of the Ministry's property

and they simply cover Kouroumali by keeping her at her position?

It seems that rather the second is true.

Because obviously, the officials who sold out the property of the Ministry (if they did sell them out, without the leadership's knowledge) they can not be them, who will claim it back as the leadership is trying to convince us.

Do some people at Bouboulina's Str. continue after all of these, to underestimate our intelligence?
