Kastellorizo ​has been betrayed by Dora Bakoyannis

According to the newspaper TA NEA of January 21, 2020, Dora Bakoyannis in an interview published by journalist George Papachristou, in the column named Stigma said publicly that we need to look at Greek-Turkish relations in another way and understand that it is acceptable to have some losses, as for example the EEZ of Kastellorizo island.

She even said, that if one doesn't understand, that we must accept the loss of the EEZ of Kastellorizo, he has "outdated perceptions of the last century".

So this is the public statement of Ms. Bakoyannis, proposing to hand over to Turkey a huge area of the Greek Independent (?) and Sovereign (?) State, and indeed, not as an indifferent tourist, who just happened to be in Greece, but as a MINISTER !!!

The knowledge that this is the statement of Mrs. Bakoyanni, brings to our mind, those who spoke about the "Pseudo-Greeks".

IMMORAL

But this view is IMMORAL, because the concept of morality, as handed down to us by our fathers, REQUIRES not to surrender not even an inch of Greek ground sea or air, without war, battle, blood, and MILITARY DEFEAT. It is known worldwide that the GREEK answer to those who conspire against the Fatherland is COME AND GET IT, as the Spartans said.

UNREASONABLE

This view is also UNREASONABLE, because it assumes that Greece as a nation, will give up something, WHICH GREECE IS ENTITLED TO BY INTERNATIONAL LAW, as explicitly defined in the UN Treaty FOR THE LAW OF THE SEA.

As proof of this, here are two maps, showing the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Kastellorizo (the area where the EEZ extends to the north, between Rhodes and Cyprus).

Antony Foskolos, professor of mineral reserves

at the Polytechnic of Crete has said:

If Western Greece has 20 times more

reserves than Kavala (The Prinos Oil Field),

Crete has 2000 times more than that.

The absurdity of Dora Bakoyannis' statement gets even worse, if we take into account that besides the well-known Herodotus Valley, located in the area south of Crete, with the oil and gas reserves referred to by Professor Antonis Foskolos, there are also the reserves of the Anaximander underwater mountain range, shown in the colored insert, in the area between Kastellorizo and Cyprus. The deposits mentioned there by the researchers, are several cubic kilometers of gas and oil.

ILLEGAL

But the public statement of Dora Bakoyannis except from being unethical and irrational, it is also ILLEGAL.

And we explain what we mean

The GREEK CRIMINAL CODE provides for the crime of TREASON.

It specifies, inter alia, in Article 138 that CONSPIRACY

AGAINST THE COUNTRY'S INTEGRITY IS A CRIME. And in this respect Article 135 applies, in respect to preparatory acts of high Treason. Article 135 provides that ANYONE WHO INTENTIONALLY PROVOKES IN PUBLIC or tries to Induce Others to attempt actions which constitute CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE INTEGRITY OF THE COUNTRY, of those referred to in Article 138, IS PUNISHED WITH 10 YEARS IN PRISON OR MORE.

FOR THIS EXACT CRIMINAL OFFENSE, of intentionaly provoking in public (Article 135 (1)) or trying to induce others into actions which constitute CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE INTEGRITY OF THE COUNTRY (Article 138) WE SUE DORA BAKOGIANNI.
